Monitoring your imports enables you to see how many items are searchable and if there is any gap with the number of items/articles/sku in your product feed.
You can eventually see a difference between the number of items in your feed and the number of items in the compilation (what we have processed). 2 possible reasons:
- You have asked your CSM to filter your product feed to only import “in stock” (attribute availability) items for instance. In that case, Sensefuel will only load these items and put aside every item that have another value for availability than “in stock”
- You have few items that do not respect the minimum requirements of the feed specification. Sensefuel has a 0.5% tolerance meaning that if your feed contains items not compliant with the specifications they will not be processed and searchable. Be careful, if more than 0.5% of items are not compliant Sensefuel will refuse the feed and won’t update at all your data. You can identify these products by downloading the error/warning report.
When you have an issue with your feed (you have received an email alert if you have configured correctly the contact in the import configuration screen), you can download the error report from that screen and identify which lines, items and attributes are causing the issues.
In that case we strongly suggest checking the last file Sensefuel has downloaded from your system and used to process your data. To access that file simply click on the download icon.
If you are using Sensefuel MAX and have subscribed to editorial contents automatically retrieved by a crawler, you can monitor status and volume of contents retrieved from that screen too.
Finally, you can also relaunch manually your import (by relaunching the download from your system or by uploading manually your file). Why manually relaunching your feed?
- In case you need to apply your merchandising configurations “urgently” and cannot wait for the next automatic import scheduled.
- In case of issues with your previous feed that have been fixed on your side and you cannot wait for the next automatic import scheduled.
