Troubleshooting why Sensefuel search layer is not visible when you click in the search box by following these steps
- Verify Sensefuel main JavaScript tag is loaded
- Open your browser with the DevTools open and on the network panel
- Filter by clicking on the funnel icon and type "tagp"
- Access your website
- If you don't find "tagp.js" it means Sensefuel JavaScript tag is not loaded in your web page and you should investigate with your IT team why or check your Tag Management System (GTM, etc.)
- If you find "tagp.js" it means Sensefuel JavaScript tag is well loaded in your web page meaning the issue is somewhere else. Check the next steps.
- Open your browser with the DevTools open and on the network panel
- Verify that Sensefuel main JavaScript loaded in your web page is the correct one
- Click on Sensefuel tagp.js
- In the Headers tab verify that the request URL is strictly identical to the one provided in your Sensefuel data environment in the sf.src element as shown in this example
- If the URL is different it means you have the wrong Sensefuel JavaScript tag loaded in your web page. You should verify this with your IT team or in your Tag Management System
- If the URL is identical, check the next steps
- Click on Sensefuel tagp.js
- Verify Sensefuel deployment steps
- Connect to Sensefuel platform, go to the Layer section and then to Deployment
- Check the deployment step
- If your deployment step is 0% or 20% or 50% this might be reason and you should toggle on "Force Sensefuel on this browser". (only works with Google Chrome)
- If you deployment step is 100% check the next step
- Connect to Sensefuel platform, go to the Layer section and then to Deployment
- Verify your browser add blocker
- Check if you have an add blocker installed on your browser
- If it is the case, try to disable it and reload the page
- Check if the layer is displayed
- If the layer is displayed it means your add blocker is blocking your Tag Management System if you are using one to load Sensefuel JavaScript tag on your website (GTM for instance) or directly blocking Sensefuel JavaScript tag. You can decide switch to a 1st party JavaScript tag.
