Overview

The Shopify Sensefuel app is designed to seamlessly integrate Sensefuel’s AI-powered capabilities into your Shopify store. It focuses on three main features:

1. Search – Implement Sensefuel’s hyper-personalized search layer with a simple JavaScript tag for real-time, AI-driven results.
2. Recommendations – Add AI-powered and hyper-personalized product recommendations throughout the shopping experience, also available in plug and play. 
3. Ranking – Manage and optimize product ranking for collections linked to your menu, replacing manual Shopify rankings with Sensefuel’s dynamic ranking system.

Key Features

1. Catalog Extraction & Synchronization

• The app extracts your Shopify product catalog and generates a CSV file. As a user you can select and map your Shopify attributes, metafields, options, tags, etc. to enrich the feed with additional data. 
  
  
• This file is automatically dropped on a FTP for Sensefuel to process the update.
• Update frequency:
  • Based on detected changes in the catalog the update is generated every 1h.
  • Users can force an update manually from the app interface.

2. Sensefuel Search Layer

• Implement Sensefuel’s search experience with a JavaScript tag.
• Provides real-time, hyper-personalized search results for each visitor.
• Zero configuration required thanks to AI self-learning.
• Possibility to adjust and tune the Look & Feel of the Layer

3. Product Recommendations

• Easily add Sensefuel’s recommendation snippets into your Shopify theme by adding a Sensefuel recommendation section and inserting the recommendation slot ID from your configuration in Sensefuel's platform.

4. Collection Ranking Management

• The app retrieves the ranking of each collection present in your menu from Sensefuel by calling our Discovery API. The ranking is based on AI learning, product performances, manual selection (Showcase) and Strategies (boost & bury) than you can configure in Sensefuel's platform.

• Note that if Sensefuel ranking is enabled:
  • It replaces all manual Shopify rankings for collections linked to the menu used in the Product Type tab of the app.
    
    
     
  • Any manual ranking changes in Shopify will be overwritten at every synchronization.
• Disable Sensefuel ranking for specific collections:
  • Switch it off in the collection metafields.
