Using the Sensefuel Toolbar is simple and allows you to remove the hyper personalization component in the search results. This enables you to see product rankings exactly as a brand‑new user would experience them when first visiting your website.
1. Install the Sensefuel Toolbar
- Open the Chrome Web Store.
- Search for Sensefuel Toolbar, or click here.
- Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
2. Open the Toolbar on Your Website
- Go to your website in Google Chrome.
- Click the Extensions icon in the top‑right corner of your browser.
- Select the Sensefuel Toolbar extension from the list.
3. Connect the Toolbar Using Your UUID
To activate the toolbar, you must connect it using your UUID (Universally Unique Identifier).
How to Find Your UUID
- Open the Sensefuel Platform.
- Navigate to the Tag menu.
- Locate the functional tag.
- Copy the UUID portion from the tag.
Connect the Toolbar
- Click on the Sensefuel toolbar icon
- Paste your UUID into the toolbar input field.
- Click Connect to activate the toolbar.
4. Sensefuel Features Without Personalization
Once connected, and depending on your implementation type, you will now see the product rankings (search, navigation/browse, recommend) as if it were the first visit to your website, without any personalization applied.
