Works as “visual filters” as the effect when you click on them is to narrow the search results (filtering).
They are designed mainly for brand corners, collections, or anything that lasts during the year. However, you are completely free to use them as you need or desire.
Configuration steps:
- name (internal use only)
- front end label (might be visible for your customers)
- a background URL image
- a logo URL image
- A selection of products
- dynamically selected with an attribute
- statically selected with a selection (Select)
The display position of the spotlight in the search layer may vary between Sensefuel Max and other versions.

What is Spotlight auto application ?
When only one spotlight is returned on a user search and 100% of the products in the results belong to that spotlight, auto application happens.
Exclusive Mode
Warning: If you enable that mode, the set of products associated to this Branded Spotlight will only be accessible in search results when your customers click on it or search for it specifically.
This feature enables you to manage brands requiring their products to not be presented next to other product brands, or if you want to hide all outlet products from your search results except when users explicitly click on that Branded Spotlight.
Image recommendations
Background Image
We recommend using an image without text as the purpose of the image is to be a background, give an ambience.
By default this image will be used for the different displays of your Spotlight. The visible area adjusts according to the resolution.
Weight: 100kb.
Size : width: 1920px. , height: between 500px and 700px.
For a better rendering, you can add a square format image (via the advanced settings) which will be used on certain displays, instead of this panoramic image.
Logo image
The logo appears over the background image.
Prefer the PNG format for a better integration within the thumbnail.
